1/2/2020 0 Comments Week EightYoga: this week I switched yoga apps because I ran out of new workouts I could do. The week before I had gotten to where I was repeating the same workouts I had already done. The new app I am using has videos instead of pictures that show me how to do the moves instead of pictures. When I first started doing yoga the apps that help me were using pictures to portray how the moves were supposed to be done and I discovered it was hard to do the moves effectively when looking at pictures, since I have been watching video demonstrations I can feel I'm getting a little bit better of a workout.

12/4/2019 0 Comments Week SevenYoga: My yoga is going good again i'm very relaxed and am feeling stronger. I can really feel it in my arms and in my core. also my balance is getting better because me and my friend had a competition to see who could stand on one foot the longest, don't ask me why, but I won! I've always had good balance but I can definitely tell its in evolving.
Meditation: My meditation is definitely the strongest out of the two. I am continuing to do meditation right before bed and when I wake up feel really refreshed and ready to take on the new day. Meditation has also makes me happier recently and has given me a go with the flow kinda vibe. 12/4/2019 0 Comments Week SixYoga: My yoga is going good. It could be better but its going good. im feeling more flexible and stronger in my core. after last week and not doing yoga as much I am more sore than I was when the weeks before I took the small break.
Meditation: My meditation is going really good because I learning to cope with things going on in my life. I think its going good now because i'm at a good spot in my life. I have no drama and i'm just going with the flow where ever that takes me but i'm still completing the things that need to complete. 12/4/2019 0 Comments Week fiveduring my week four, I'm not going to lie, I slacked off. I got a job and worked 4 days this week. I did yoga and meditation for almost three days this week I feel some regression. This is because when you don't stretch or meditate for days at a time your skills that you have learned begin to go away.
This week was a week of learning for me because i realized how much the skills you learn and practice can go away in a matter of days so if you want to become great at something you need to practice it everyday. 10/23/2019 0 Comments Week FourYoga: My yoga has been going good throughout the week. My toning and weight loss has leveled out I haven't lost an extreme amount of weight but I realized I can now fit into a pair of jeans I haven't been able to fit into since last lacrosse season. I am going to continue my yoga routine and my eating routine. I feel my eating routine is helping me out with losing weight and toning out.
Meditation: I have found that I am beginning to develop skills through meditation now easier than at the start of my journey. At the start of my journey it was really difficult because I was not in the routine of doing meditation every day I was just in the routine of doing meditation when ever I felt that I needed to do it. this did not help me in the least because when you don't do it everyday it doesn't become routine and it doesn't help you out it just stays something foreign to you. Now that I have developed some skill to doing meditation while I am stressed it has helped me to focus when ever I am really tired, and that overall helps me get my work done. It had gotten to the point where I was so tired when I came home from school that I was overwhelmed with having to sit down and do 2-3 hours of homework a night but now if I go home and meditate right when I get home I've noticed I feel so much better. I am going to continue on the same path with meditation because it seems to be helping me out the more I practice it and do it. 10/16/2019 0 Comments Week 1: IntroductionFor my week one I decided to spend my time discovering apps to help me plan my meditation and yoga goals. it took me a good amount of time to find reliable apps. at first I was hoping that I could find an app that could help me with both at the same time. I could not find an app that addressed both my meditation goals and my yoga goals so I ended up having to settle with two different apps. The meditation app I decided to use was the insight timer app. this app sets up plans for me to achieve my low stress goals. The yoga app I decided to use was the Yoga app this app lets me make a routine to follow or follow other peoples routines that they have made. My plan is to follow other peoples routine for the first couple weeks until I feel comfortable with making my own routine.
